Today's Freiheit ride has been CANCELLED due to low temperatures. It is currently 26 and will be 35 but with a wind chill of 31 at 9. Many folks were discussing a 11 am start at Leon Springs if you are looking for an alternative. It will be 46 with a wind chill of 42 at 11 in Leon Springs. Cold but much warmer than a 9 am start.

Today's Adkins Junction ride has been CANCELLED due to cold and rain. It is currently 41 degrees with a wind chill of 36 with rain forecasted until this afternoon. Better luck next weekend!

Today's Cibolo ride and Cibolo Stay Together rides have been CANCELLED due to rain. It is currently 45 degrees with a forecast of more rain and dropping temperatures today.

Tomorrow's Adkins Junction ride might suffer the same fate. Check in on the blog tomorrow morning for a posting if the weather doesn't look promising.

Radar looks OK as of 5:30 am for the Rebecca Mirror ride. Low water crossings on Blanco and Specht roads might be a problem so you might consider an alternate route to the ride start.

For those considering the Rebecca Creek ride tomorrow (Sun, 7/22), Mike T surveyed the route today and there are 3 crossings that may cause us to get creative on routes. 1) Spring Branch Rd was closed just before Rittman 2) Rebecca Creek Rd is closed at the Guadelupe 3) Upper Smithson Valley Rd was closed at one water crossing. Spring Branch and Upper Smithson Valley Roads MAY be open tomorrow but that depends on what happens tonight. Rebecca Creek Rd will most likely remain closed so the long route is out. Weather permitting Mike T will be at the ride start for those interested.
