Leaderless Tuesday Night Ride

Given the construction in downtown Cibolo, and that no one else has yet stepped up, I will be riding from the Schertz Library (608 Schertz Pkwy, 78154) on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM. The intended route clocks in at 31.6 miles and can be viewed at MapMyTri.com. There is no planned rest stop, but, one can easily be added in when making the cut across FM 78 in Marion. Pace will be determined by those in attendance, but I plan on going hard most evenings.

Today's Freiheit ride has been CANCELLED due to low temperatures. It is currently 26 and will be 35 but with a wind chill of 31 at 9. Many folks were discussing a 11 am start at Leon Springs if you are looking for an alternative. It will be 46 with a wind chill of 42 at 11 in Leon Springs. Cold but much warmer than a 9 am start.

Today's Adkins Junction ride has been CANCELLED due to cold and rain. It is currently 41 degrees with a wind chill of 36 with rain forecasted until this afternoon. Better luck next weekend!

Today's Cibolo ride and Cibolo Stay Together rides have been CANCELLED due to rain. It is currently 45 degrees with a forecast of more rain and dropping temperatures today.

Tomorrow's Adkins Junction ride might suffer the same fate. Check in on the blog tomorrow morning for a posting if the weather doesn't look promising.

Radar looks OK as of 5:30 am for the Rebecca Mirror ride. Low water crossings on Blanco and Specht roads might be a problem so you might consider an alternate route to the ride start.
